If the powers that be at the top levels of the education bureaucracy formed a committee upon the premise of finding the solutions to these questions we would be well on our way to a revolution of the way we educate our future generations and they in turn educate us! I found my responses to most questions were institutionalized. I am wondering if we would be in this situation or if these questions would even be on our minds if we adopted Reagan's recommendations on education. I think he forwarned us on having strong federal involvment in our education system. Now, we are looking back in hidsight and realizing he was right with many areas; now we are asking these questions. Maybe add this one - Can we limit the involvement of the Fed in our educational system to give it the overhaul it really needs? Like the wiki.
