There was a great deal of discussion (good discussions) shared by all via the chat room and audio. I left the session with a couple of thoughts: 1. There is no wrong answer. 2. There is no "solid" definition for, or a way to measure literacy in regards to the 21st century learner. We assess reading and writing with standardized tests, but there is no standardization assessment or measurement for the use of web 2.0 skills. It's not so much of what we know, but how we use it. 3. We, as communicators, need to be clear when it comes to semantics, our use of words, body language, etc. When we communnicate with others in this global world, it's easy to misintrepret or be misinterpreted because of ones culture or by being insensitive to other's feelings.

Will, many thanks for getting this organized at short notice. Frustratingly, I missed the first 15 minutes as my Macbook Pro was playing up. I'm really glad that I caught the rest and contributed my meandering thoughts.

I look forward to the aftermath from various blogs! :-)

Will, it sounds like it will be a great session. I won't be able to make it, but I would love to hear the recording. If anyone reading this has done an elluminate session yet, it is a tremendous meeting tool and lots of fun.

Enjoy everyone!
