I signed up with Twitter last few weeks. I like it so far, but I’m struggling with how often to Twitte.

Actually, I set up feeds using both methods offered above, and even though every thing works fine at first, I don’t seem to be getting RSS updates in Google Reader now It is static, actually. Has anyone had successful results where both their twitter friends timeline and the GR feed are in agreement and current?

Thanks Will.. for pointing us to Mike’s post. Worked like a charm. I was a proponent of TwitBox, because it was the only twitter client that included a URL-grabber. But, a couple weeks ago the developers pulled the plug on it; and I have been searching for something else. This is even better.

Will, Glad to see you got it working. Sue shares a new way (new to me - and now I’ll share that link), hopefully a fix due to the popularity of your type of question.

Like many, following links is about not missing the conversation and the resources behind them. I wish I had time to follow the Twitterati more, but with this fix - at least I don’t miss the many great resources shared.

Awesome! I love following the conversation, but sometimes I am just too busy and I have to force myself to unplug. Now I won’t worry that I missed any good sites. Thanks for sharing!

Mike’s is an excellent post on using Yahoo pipes. However instead of doing the work to create your own pipe there is one created that you can just add your username to and them subscribe to your feed. Easy and virtually no work at all :). And yes I got the heads up from twitter after it was shared in a link in diigo.

So what you’re saying is it’s about the links, not the conversation?

I’m just kidding with you, I fully understand. It’s tough to get utility out of twitter some times when folks tweet as much as they do.
