In response to Mr. Farmer...
The fact... these axioms are not addressed in our current education protocol. We have heard them stated over and over again. We know the language is filled with jargon. I think the ultimate goal is to continue the conversation until everyone is on board. We are the minority in a world of educators that just don't get it!

Thanks Will

I am going to forward this information to my Superintendent and Principal. These are the people who really need to join in on the discussion. Hopefully this will spark some change!

[...] Call me a cynic… but does anyone else suffer allergic reactions to education 2 statements such as those accompanying the upcoming EduCon 2.0 get together (picked up via Will), which I’m sure’ll be fun, but… The Axioms / Guiding Principles of EduCon 2.0: 1) Our schools must be inquiry-driven, thoughtful and empowering for all members. 2) Our schools must be about co-creating — together with our students — the 21st Century Citizen 3) Technology must serve pedagogy, not the other way around. 4) Technology must enable students to research, create, communicate and collaborate 5) Learning can — and must — be networked.
Hey. Right now you are talking to our class. You seem pretty cool. Snappy dresser. Also you run a mac. Which makes you atomatically pretty awesome. I'm a fan of the white macbook but the black one works for you. I was the girl who looked really clumsy and was wearing the hat+headphones. By the way. Just wanted to say that I always thought I was knowledgeable about the internet and the tools it offers but you really helped me expand that knowledge. Thanks so much. I hope you come back.
