Gees Will, thanks for the horrible lutefisk flashbacks. I spent a couple of winters in Minnesota and there is nothing like a large portion of lutefisk sitting on your plate with a dozen pair of eyes waiting for you to willingly gulp it down.

Boy, I know this isn’t the kind of comment you wanted to get from this entry…but the lutefisk thing is just too tempting. Well, not actually the lutefisk itself. I grew up “enjoying” the smell and taste of lutefisk at holiday time (South Dakota)and it’s still a Nov-Dec requirement if I happen to be back home. Gulping it down, of course, is the only way to go. Really, it just slides down if you swish it in enough melted butter first. But if you add a few pieces of lefsa, well now, that’s a different story!
