		<description>In an elementary library class I introduced a blog I created for kids to talk about our book award nominees. When I initially showed it to them, they were very ho-hum, but when I equated it to something like MySpace, well they suddenly were interested and many seemed to understand. This is a Title I predominantly poor community school. So I think web 2.0 is definitley a way to breathe new life into the curriculum. I know my kids were definitely interested, though shucks gosh darn, it&#039;s early. None have yet to post to the blog EXCEPT the authors of the books I am blogging about. But I need to remember, it&#039;s just September...</description>
