Connectivism Online Conference
Just a brief pointer to the “Connectivism Online Conference” running in February that’s been organized by George Siemens and will feature presentations by George, Stephen Downes, Terry Anderson, Bill Kerr, and, believe it or not, yours truly. Luckily, I think I’m scheduled for early in the week, so the bar will no doubt be raised as the conference evolves. If you are interested in “attending” this free event which will be delivered through Elluminate and Moodle, head on over to the conference page and submit your e-mail to get updates as we get closer. In all likelihood, some other folks will added to the list as well.

We have several finished pieces already, so hopefully by the end of the week we will have several posts going. I’m hoping to get them to finish writing posts about our “cutting edge” project to include a student that is assigned to our class, but has leukemia and can’t come to school, via a Skype audio and video feed. I am excited about the conference, however, I hope that as with any good conference, that George is working to make sure to represent the diverse backgrounds of the educational community. I will definitely be at your presentation (unless they schedule you at 2 am or something!)
