I love this! Sebastien Paquet has created a toolbar link that when you click on it brings up all of the Bloglines citations about that particular page. As Lilia has shown, it seems to work better than Technorati links and other such tools. Now, if there was just a way to add that functionality to the end of each post, right next to the Trackback link…

NECC starts a week from tomorrow in New Orleans, and blogging is in the air:
First, the semi-official NECC Weblog is up and running, and it promises to be bigger and better than last year when about one in four attendees went to the site. It’s sponsored by Clarity Innovations, and they’re hoping to cover the conference with text and pictures and more. If you want to contribute to the blog, just visit the site and follow the links.
Blogging is definitely a hot topic this year with six sessions that directly involve Weblogs and I’m sure many others that will be alluding to the technology. I’m hoping to hit most of them.
Finally, I’ve been lucky enough to have been invited by Intel to be a part of CEO Craig Barrett’s keynote speech on Tuesday morning to highlight Weblogs in the classroom. One of my students an I will be onstage for a five minute segment to talk about what’s been happening with blogs at my school and to show a video that a crew shot last week with some other students, teachers and a parent. It’s really exciting, and it’s obviously a huge opportunity for blogvangelism. (And my student is beside herself!)
So, I’m really looking forward to seeing Anne, Tim, Tom and others, and to meeting even more edbloggers. And to plan a blogarama for next year’s NECC right down the road in Philadelphia…Woo Hoo!
