Those wonderful folks at Userland/Manila are making me a happy boy. Not only did Jake come up with a fix for my students’ broken Web logs, he throws in a brand spanking new and really cool department link macro that’s gonna save me even more time! (Now, if we could only build a template that had news items enabled and the department link macro already installed…) How about another macro of some type that would allow the easy addition of plain old links? (Ok…don’t want to go overboard.)

You guys are Windows folks, right? Manila’s got a built-in WYSIWYG that lets you make links like in a word processor or Dreamweaver. You might have to enable it from your prefs, though.

Where? It has always showed up whenever I use Manila with IE on a Windows box. It is not a Windows specific tool, but rather an IE on Windows specific tool. Windows versions of other browsers don’t have this tool, or it is an add on in some browsers.
I believe you have to enable it in PREFS as Sarah indicated…

Hmmm…miscommunication on my part. What I meant to say in the post is easy links in the nav bar…you know, so you don’t have to make a separate story and use the include macro. My bad.
